ANIMA Podcasts and Kroma stages PH’s first-ever podcast festival ‘Hear For It’



Kroma Entertainment, in partnership with ANIMA Podcasts, proudly spearheaded the Philippines' premier podcast festival, ‘Hear For It’, igniting the podcast scene with an unprecedented celebration.


This pioneering festival, 'Hear For It', carved out a historic moment for the nation's burgeoning podcast landscape, uniting audio storytelling aficionados at the Glorietta 2 Activity Center on the 20th of October. The festival, a vibrant hub of immersive experiences, was not just a success—it was a revelation, showcasing the spirited bond within the podcast community.


This event transformed into a dynamic meeting ground for podcast enthusiasts. It offered them a rare opportunity to mingle with the voices that have become a staple in their daily lives, the podcast superstars themselves. Attendees were treated to live creator stories, providing a backstage pass into the world of podcasting. Moreover, interactive podcast booths brought the thrill of audio creation to life, granting fans a taste of the magic behind the mic.


Reel Life: ‘I Am Not Big Bird’ gets first teaser, ‘Where Is The Lie?’ and ‘HITO’ join more int’l fests



ANIMA Studios released the first teaser to Enrique Gil’s much-awaited comeback film “I Am Not Big Bird”, leaving fans with lots to “unpack” from its wild, adventurous plot.


Meanwhile, “Where Is The Lie?” (“Marupok AF”) was selected to be an official entry for the Southeast Asia Showcase of the 43rd edition of Hawai’i International Film Festival (HIFF). Stephen Lopez’s “HITO” also joined the 2023 San Diego Filipino Film Festival’s Shorts Program III: Finding Elsewhere category and the Sitges Film Festival’s Official Fantastic In-Competition.


A ‘Sneak Peek’ into Matthaios’ sneaker collection



Complex Philippines dropped the second episode of their online series, “Sneak Peek”, and gave fans an exclusive look into the collection of R&B artist Matthaois.


The episode, hosted by Julo de Guzman, delved into Matthaios’ passion for footwear, revealing his favorites for daily wear and the pairs that grace the stage during his performances.

PIE bumps up the ‘swerte’ with earlier primetime schedule



PIE has announced an exciting monthly incentive for viewers: the chance to win a share of 1 million pesos in prize money through their "Alas Swerte" shows. With an updated schedule starting at 5 PM since October 21, PIE promises to offer an entertaining and potentially rewarding way to end your day.


The lineup includes “Mukhang Perya”, “Watchawin”, and “Ur Da Boss” from Mondays to Fridays, and “Tamang Hinala”, “Sinong Manok Mo?” on Saturdays and Sundays.
